A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

As a Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN, you assist physicians in the treatment and examination of residents at our nursing facility. You arrive for each shift determined to ensure that our residents, who may have Alzheimer's, have Dementia, be on dialysis, or need IV therapy, enjoy the highest possible quality of care. While making daily rounds, you visit each resident and evaluate their physical and emotional condition. You listen and address their needs and problems, implementing nursing interventions as necessary. Supervising and directing the day-to-day tasks of the medication nurse and nursing aides is also an important aspect of your job. You always encourage an atmosphere of optimism, warmth, and sincere concern for each of our patients.

Your excellent interpersonal skills come in handy as you administer medications and perform treatments. And, your attention to detail helps you keep accurate records as you document nurses' notes, physicians' orders, administration of medications, discharge plans, dietary changes, reports, evaluations, and studies. When it comes to personal and private information, you are always tactful and discreet. You also patiently and professionally recognize, address, and report any grievances. Making a positive impact in the lives of our patients and their families brings you a great deal of satisfaction!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

* LPN License issued by the State of Georgia
* Excellent technical assessment skills, documentation skills, and leadership qualities
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position with 3 schedules available. We are looking for individuals who can work 7 am - 3 pm, 3 pm - 11 pm, and 11 am - 7 pm.
