We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media trends, platforms, and content creation. You will be responsible for managing our social media accounts, developing engaging content, and implementing strategies to increase our online presence and drive engagement.
A Jordan Ford employee will take a deep dive into our company culture, learn how departments work independently and together, develop business skills, meet trusted vendors, and learn how crucial it is to have industry leading customer service.
Job Description:
- Work with Marketing Manager to develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals
- Stay abreast of industry trends and social media to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of social media
- Plan, create and analyze monthly social media calendar and posts including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram,
TikTok, and YouTube
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages
- Create long form videos and post to the YouTube channel
- Collaborate with Marketing Manager to develop visually appealing graphics, videos, and other multimedia content
based on monthly incentives and offers
- Monitor social media analytics to track the performance of campaigns, identify trends, and make data-driven
recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with all departments (sales, service, parts, body shop) to showcase their services on social media
- Manage and reply to reviews on review sites
- Attend occasional sales team meetings to showcase the company’s social media presence
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and their respective audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas
- Experience with social media analytics and reporting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, iMovie)
- Knowledge of SEO principles and content marketing strategies
- Familiarity with paid social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads)
- Experience in the automotive industry
This position is 40 hours a week paid on an hourly basis. The pay range is between $21 to $27 a hour.
