Your Role
This role is an Associate level position on the Private Assets Investment Team at Jordan Park. The candidate will focus on supporting the team with fund, direct, and co-investment due diligence across our private asset strategies, which includes coverage of buyout, growth equity, early- and late-stage venture capital, and secondaries. This role will also offer the opportunity to work with the broader team to support investment efforts across a variety of strategies and asset classes. Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
- Analyzing incoming and existing investments across asset classes, sectors, geographies, and structures to assess suitability for investment
- Managing investment pipelines across a range of internally managed private vehicles
- Monitoring existing investments on the platform and helping to make decisions on management and disposition strategies
- Conducting modeling and analysis for direct and co-investments
- Working with the broader investment team to identify attractive exposures, markets, and themes to invest in
- Writing investment memoranda to document investment due diligence and convey theses to relevant internal stakeholders
- Managing relationships with existing and new General Partner relationships and representing the firm in this capacity
- Communicating effectively to manage relationships with vendors and service providers, clients, and internal colleagues
- Creating marketing and communication materials for the consumption of internal stakeholders and investors
- Contributing to the maintenance and management of the team’s investment research management software tool; help to improve and streamline processes overall
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject (business, finance, math); advanced degree is preferred
- At least three years of experience and familiarity with direct private investments and investment modeling. Experience with funds and fund managers is a plus
- Experience at a broker-dealer, RIA, multi-family office, investment consultant, PE/VC firm, or other relevant firm
- Strong interest in investments and portfolio management
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong ability to think independently and be self-directed in a busy and rapidly evolving work environment. Ability to be a self-starter, assess priorities, and adjust workflow accordingly
- Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage several projects and initiatives in parallel
- Have excellent analytical and modeling skills backed by significant experience
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in professional communication with clients and investment partners
- Flexibility; ability to accommodate meetings and travel on relatively short notice as required to meet with investment partners, clients, and colleagues; willingness to occasionally work long hours when required by time-sensitive special projects

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation at Jordan Park includes a base salary, discretionary year-end bonus, benefits and other perks. We apply a total reward philosophy when determining compensation terms.
The expected base salary for this role in San Francisco, California will range from $100,000 - $150,000 per year commensurate with experience, job-related skills, relevant education, licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
