Reporting to the Marketing Advertising Manager, this newly created position is responsible for managing the social media programs, promotions and content calendar, to increase consumer engagement and drive sales.
Please note: we offer a hybrid work schedule of three days in the office/two at home.
Responsibilities:
- Plans, implements and monitors Jordan’s social media presence to expand brand reach, increase engagement and maintain favorable consumer sentiment.
- Manages paid and organic social media programs and promotions, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapcat, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.
- Manages monthly social media content calendar, including publishing and creation of organic posts and sponsored ads.
- Designs and develops engaging content for social media platforms, including content, polls, surveys and videos.
- Manages social promotions and contests across all platforms and channels.
- Manages social media influencer programs and content.
- Monitors industry and brings new trends and ideas to the Jordan’s organization and marketing team.
- Tracks, monitors and reports on social media KPI’s across full funnel to guide improvements.
- Analyzes current marketing initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
- Leads community management process to improve brand awareness and reputation through responding and engaging with customers.
- Acts as a brand steward and marketing expert for the Jordan’s Furniture organization.
- Stays current on industry and competitive trends; monitor retail, fashion and furniture news; update team on any insights and new ways to attract customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent
- 3 years experience in consumer marketing or retail
- Excellent written communication skills and copywriting skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to multitask in a tight deadline environment
- Experience with content creation systems such as Photoshop, Video Editing (Premier), Canva, Illustrator, Rush, etc.
- Analytical curiosity and ability to balance creativity with data
- Experience with publishing tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, Sprinkler) and campaign manager tools (Facebook Business Manager, Campaign Manager, Google Advertising)
- Experience with digital analytics and dashboard visualization (Google Analytics, etc.)
- Excellent problem solving and resourcefulness
- Ability to work in a team environment with people of various backgrounds, personality traits and levels of authority
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective relationship building skills
- Position requires creativity, project management and analytical thinking
