What are the responsibilities and job description for the Porter/Dishwasher Associate position at Joseph's Classic Market?
Position: Porter/Dishwasher
Cleanliness and sanitation is critical in any food
establishment and Joseph’s is no different. Our porters and dishwashers ensure
the front of house and back of house is clean and sanitary.
Routine Tasks:
- Properly cleans dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc.
- Cleans showcase display windows, displays and fixtures
- Clean shopping carts, hand baskets and retrieves baskets
- Removes trash from all departments
- Communicates with store manager and department managers if
- Operates dishwasher, pallet jack, uses knives, and other Cleaning/Warehouse
- Assists with other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to interpret and follow instructions
- Ability to work well with others
- A passion for serving people
A Porter/Dishwasher performs their tasks in multiple
locations, from the dishwashing area to the front of the store. Work involves
walking, standing for prolonged periods, and lifting products weighing up to 50
pounds. Work also includes frequent interaction with fellow employees.
Salary : $18,500 - $23,400
