We’re currently seeking a bright, attentive person for the full-time Horticultural Manager position in our Plant Department. As a member of the Plant Department, your work is vital to ensuring hundreds of thousands of plants are happy and healthy. Your primary responsibilities will include leading, managing, and holding the Horticulture team accountable, purchasing plants, maintaining inventory, and overseeing departmental operations.

Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday (8 AM to 4:30 PM)
$18/hour (with opportunities for bonuses and raises)

Day-to-day tasks include:
Leading, managing, and holding the Horticulture team accountable
Sourcing plants and maintaining plant inventory
Overseeing plant health and care
Overseeing order fulfillment
Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
Overseeing department production and inventory
Tracking and completing special projects
For this position, you MUST possess:
Ability to wear PPE (full-face respirator, suit, gloves, etc.)
Management experience
Horticulture experience, either professional or serious hobby-level
Pest and disease identification experience
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
Special consideration is given to those with:
Pesticide application experience
Knowledge of vivariums/terrariums
Administrative experience
Order fulfillment experience
Existing networks with professional/hobby plant communities
