Job Summary:
An assembly operator inspects rings out of cast, grinds and assembles two part or multi-part rings, sand blasts and hardens metal, and cleans up or fixes small defects out of cast. Responsible to learn and maintain skills in several functions required for inspecting and assembling rings/jewelry. The person must be able to perform the needed skills by following SOPs (standard operating procedures) to area quality standards while meeting hourly production goals.

Depending on skills of operator, each skill may be used daily or as needed.
Job Specifications:
- Specialized experience in at least one or more of the skill sets listed above
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Ability and willingness to learn other functions not already mastered
- Ability to use required hand tools
- Ability to work with standard materials
- Must be able to read and understand all information on shop paper
- May require flexible hours to include overtime
- Must be able to wear and use necessary protective clothing and/or equipment
- Must maintain equipment and area in a clean safe condition
- Must be able to work in a team environment
