Job title: Sr. Operations Analytics Manager
Location: Clarksville, TN
Jostens is looking for an experienced & talented manager with expertise in Operations Analytics to support our Finance and Production departments.
This role will conduct financial analysis, forecasting/planning, and production cost and scheduling analysis. This includes daily, weekly, and monthly variance analysis of production spending; daily, weekly and monthly metric reporting and assisting with development of operational forecasts and annual plans. Position will provide the Plant GM with production analysis and modeling, including capacity and production scheduling to support efficient plant operations as well as other analytics (quality, ramp, staffing plans, etc.) to support the operations team.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Actuarial Science, Accounting or Finance or related field and 10 years’ related experience
- Subject matter expert in manufacturing and production costing and modeling
- High Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access and other financial modeling tools
- Ability to plan, organize and see projects to completion while managing deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization
- Time management/organization skills – the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
Preferred:
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA)
AS Sr. OPERATIONS ANALYTICS MANAGER YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Production Analysis and Modeling
- Work with production scheduling and plant management to develop new or modify existing reports to address gaps in understanding plant operational effectiveness
- Partner with plant management to ensure all reports are appropriate to the audience, while clearly presenting the financial overview
- Improve efficiency in reporting
- UPH and Labor Efficiency Analysis and Modeling
- Develop forward looking labor efficiency predictability model
Financial Operations Support for Plant GM
- Work with functional managers on Scorecard attainment
- Variance analysis of production spending budgets vs plan/forecast
- Work with functional managers on daily, weekly and monthly UPH and labor efficiency goals
Forecasting/Planning Support
- Participate in departmental, plant, and division annual planning process
- Recommend new processes or operating plans to improve efficiency
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and provide accurate and timely financial and operational reports to management
