What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician position at Joulé?
Location: Chester, NJ area
Schedule / Hours: M-F, Full Time
Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Utilize color matching software to generate color matches
- Careful preparation and measurement of liquid product samples
- Work independently and collaboratively with others
- Maintain and clean laboratory and equipment
- Adhere to all laboratory safety guidelines
- Maintain laboratory supplies
- Continuous development of skills and knowledge of color science and the coatings industry
- AS or BS in a science field
- Color shading experience a plus
- Experience with spectrophotometers and color matching software preferred
- 1-2 years in a laboratory environment preferred
- Strong attention to detai
- Color acuity a plus
- Exhibits and fosters team behavior
- Ability to understand written instructions, test procedures and SDS sheet
- Strong communication and organizational skill
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Clear and concise record keeping
- Presentation and MS PowerPoint skills a plus
