Journeyman's putting green, Welter's Folly, is a staple to the Journeyman Distillery experience. This position is a perfect trade to learn and could lend a hand in your path toowards the golf industry, or its a perfect weekend gig in which you can take pride and be a part of the Journeyman Distillery team. This positions schdeule is Saturday and Sunday averaging 4 to 6 hours per week.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Mowing Journeyman putting green.
- Line trimming and weed whipping.
- Watering of seasonal flowers in planters.
- Weeding and mulching of landscape beds, wildflowers, and planters.
- Upkeep of pea gravel beds.
- Operation and maintenance of landscaping and putting green equipment.
- Maintain full accountability of Welter’s Folly (putting green) and surrounding grounds.
- Daily putting green mowing, watering, and maintenance.
- Weekly cup cutting, bunker maintenance, and rolling of the putting green.
- Monthly green top dressing.
- Work weekends for events or water maintenance.
Requirements
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND VISUAL SKILLS:
- Must have ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.?
- Must have ability to safely operate all tools, equipment and motor vehicles within safety standards and guidelines.?
- Must have ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.?
- Must have ability to use all senses to ensure consistency in work processes.?
- Must have ability to operate, clean and maintain all equipment required in job function.
- Must have ability to use hands in a precise and repetitive manner for periods of 8 -10 hours a day.
- Must have good organizational skills and planning skills to ensure completion of duties prior to open of business.
- Must have ability to use logical or rational thinking to solve problems.?
- Must have ability to perform moderate physical work; may be required to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 40 pounds frequently and performing such activities as bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and grasping for up to 10 hours without sitting.?
- Must have ability to sit and focus on a single task for up to 10 hours.?
REQUIRED WORK HABITS:
- Work habits include regular attendance, teamwork, initiative, dependability, and promptness.
- Ability to work weekend days.
EDUCATIONAL, DEVELOPMENT AND WORK-RELATED EXPERIENCE:
- A high school education is preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 1 year of groundskeeping/landscaping experience is preferred, but not required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Works outdoors in and around facilities.
- Potential exposure to equipment movement hazards and repetitive motion syndromes if proper safety procedures are not followed.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
