About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Food and Beverage team as a Dishwasher. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom and kitchen areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist cooks and the Executive Chef in food preparation, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
- Empty trash cans, remove empty boxes, and keep equipment, floors, and work areas clean and in working order.
- Wash all dishes, pots, and pans to ensure proper supply levels.
- Ensure proper storage procedures and assist in cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and work surfaces.
Requirements
- Ability to perform moderate physical work, lifting up to 70 pounds occasionally.
- Regular attendance, teamwork, initiative, dependability, positive attitude, and promptness.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions
- Primarily indoors in a food preparation and kitchen maintenance environment.
- Potential exposure to sharp equipment, hot stoves, and chemicals/solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed.
