**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated Classroom Assistant to support our school team in providing a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. As a key member of our team, the Classroom Assistant will assist in the daily care and education of children, working closely with the teachers and other support staff to ensure the highest quality of care and learning. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for education and is committed to helping students develop and thrive.
**Duties**
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing a curriculum that aligns with the principles of Montessori education and educational development.
- Support the care and well-being of children, including feeding, toileting, and dressing, as needed.
- Engage in play-based activities and supervise children during free play and group activities.
- Assist with classroom setup and maintenance, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
- Support the development of children's social and emotional skills through positive reinforcement and role modeling.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to identify and address any behavioral or developmental concerns.
- Assist with classroom management and ensure that all children are safe and accounted for at all times.
- Participate in curriculum development and contribute to the creation of engaging lesson plans.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
**Qualifications**
- Experience working with children such as schools , youth leaders or homeschooling group setting.
- Knowledge of education principles and practices.
- Experience with children with special needs, such as autism.
- Familiarity with Montessori education and its principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move children and equipment as needed.
- Commitment to the values of students and education, including respect, empathy, and inclusivity.
