Quality Assurance Software Tester 2

Responsibilities:   

• Develop, document, and maintain testing artifacts using well defined, industry standard best practices
• Execution of test plans reporting in quality standards
• Continuous communication throughout the organization of the testing outcomes 
• Coordination of UA testing per the quality plan
• Measure and report quality performance that contribute to the quality metrics defined goals 
• Remain current on QA best practices and methodologies to proactively provide expertise resolving QA questions and concerns  

Qualifications:   

• 3-5 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of SQL
• Proficient in manual testing techniques and test automation
• Proficient in Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman for testing API's and web services
• Hands-on experience test automation tools and frameworks
• Knowledge of best practices in test automation, maintain clean and maintainable code, write reusable test scripts and create efficient automation frameworks
• Proficient in creating, updating and running automated test scripts in alignment with requirements and user stories
• Attention to detail
• Experience with creating and managing test data for different test scenarios
• Excellent written and verbal communication and critical thinking skills      
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to create and maintain test data for automated testing scripts
• Ability to mentor others
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to deliver on time
• Ability to maintain an eye for detail even in high pressure situations
• Ability to review functional specifications, business requirements and use cases and translate these requirements into test cases or scenarios 
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams for ensuring quality throughout the SDLC
• Ability to execute manual and automated test cases and analyze results on low and moderate risk changes
• Ability to identify, analyze, document errors, questionable functions and inconsistencies in software and data
• Ability to complete work with an awareness of potential impacts across systems
• High level of motivation, ability to deal with pressure, and adaptability

Education:   

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
