Responsibilities
Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel
Helps with new-hire procedures, including organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, administering employee handbooks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate departments
Makes sure all employee records are filed correctly and kept confidential
Manages employee lifecycle – Onboarding to Offboarding
Receives employee complaints and acts to resolve them
Establishes and maintains strong relationships of trust to foster transparency, open and honest two-way communication and collaboration
Partners with the payroll & benefits specialist to administer benefits programs such as medical, dental, 401k, life insurance, and PTO
Plan and implement OSHA policies and programs.
Advise and lead employees on various safety related topics.
Prepare and Administer Safety Training on regular basis.
Adhere to all rules and regulations.
Review and update any existing safety policies.
Set up new employee onboarding and safety process.
Conduct Risk Assessments
Enforce preventative measures.
Regularly check if all employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations.
Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine cause.
Requirements
2 years of Safety or similar Role
2 years of HR or similar Role
Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
Experience writing safety policies and procedures.
Outstanding organizational skills
Team Player and team leader
Highest standards and expectations for workplace safety
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
