DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Work with Data Analytics partners to drive development of the customer population through various data warehouses and any other data sources. Accurately document how cases are executed including the steps taken to identify the population, any analytical or manual work performed, and any additional reporting created to support execution activities such as tax reporting. Collaborate with subject matter experts and correction peers to understand software breaks, how customers were impacted by breaks, and what steps need to be taken to identify customers and correct the breaks. Serve as the main point of contact for executing the case through the Corrections Quality Control process and owning the process for providing customers with any corrective actions that need to occur, including but not limited to refunds, points adjustments, credit bureau impacts, and card terms and changes to terms, as well as any regulatory impacts. Clearly articulate technical progress for population identification and execution activities to internal and external stakeholders. Develop or enhance correction execution procedures to address risks and/or increase efficiency. Analyze requirements and incorporate data into requirement specifications, data validation and quality assurance for all aspects of the correction lifecycle. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined requirement specifications. Identify or troubleshoot application code, environment, or platform-related issues, as well as data or database-related issues. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Incorporate architectural standards into application design specifications. Perform sample validations of activities to be completed to ensure 100% accuracy including any monetary impacts. Interpret and create to identify customer impacts.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: IT project management; data wrangling; code interpretation; Writing code using SAS, SQL, and Python; translating code into business requirements; creating reports via Tableau; performance testing; shell scripting; performing Unix scripting with manual testing and data validation testing teams; front-end technologies such as React or Angular and backend technologies such as Spring boot; working on Cloud technologies such as AWS or PCF and deploying the instances to pods using Kubernetes; TSYS; working with the credit card processes, systems, and products.

Job Location: 301 North Walnut Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.  Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
