As a Product Manager in Funding Hub, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Funding Hub manages the critical components of payment processing flow including pricing / billing, tax, merchant funding and reconciliation. We focus on building faster, flexible and accurate settlement solutions for our merchants leveraging the power and scale of our parent bank. We aim to provide  global, multi-currency settlement options across different payment methods to our merchants. We use a sophisticated double-entry sub-ledger system to manage merchant funding. 

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Designs product platform solutions with APIs, services, and data-driven insights that deliver world class experiences across payments processing with emphasis on funding.
  • Works closely with the internal partners to create and maintain a leadership position for JPMorgan payment services when it comes to merchant funding.
  • Provides a clear, documented vision and scope via use cases, product requirements, epics,  and stories to support agile scrum teams

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Proven track record of managing new product launches / transformations of mission-critical payment platforms
  • Strong experience with payment brand rules and regulations, specifications and interchange
  • Extensive experience in merchant acquiring, with international experience
  • Proven track record of managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle (PDLC) for complex, large-scale initiatives

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • 7 yrs. experience in payments product development or platform transformation
  • Proven track record of managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle (PDLC) for complex, large-scale initiatives
  • Experience with modern technology stacks, including cloud, big data, microservices, API’s, etc.
