As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Audit and Control Technology, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for carrying out critical Security architecture solutions by identifying, creating, and communicating risk, mitigation options, and solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of strategic programs and project goals. Ensuring that implemented controls are in compliance with regulatory, legal, and industry standards. By partnering with various stakeholders, you will contribute to the reporting of a comprehensive view of technology risk posture and its impact on the business. Your advanced knowledge of security best practices, and principles will enable you to drive innovative solutions and effectively drive a diverse team in a dynamic and evolving risk landscape.
Job responsibilities
Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future security needs
Defines the technical target state security, risk and controls architecture and drives achievement of the strategy
Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring control issues to improve overall regulatory requirements of software applications and systems
Continuous improvement and assess security & controls design and technical credentials for use in existing systems and architecture
Leads communities of practice to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge security and controls technologies
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in security architecture or engineering or related field, emphasizing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
Strategic thinking and passion for business strategy and business processes
Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Practical cloud native experience
Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
AWS Certified Security, AWS Solution Architect, Azure Security Engineer or equivalent industry certification
