As a Product Delivery Manager in [Insert team name or sub-LOB], you work to enhance and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a key member of the team, you create solutions and efficiencies that enable successful implementations in an expedient and organized way.
Job responsibilities
Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
Primary owner of all data and analytics activities, workstreams, deliverables, and strategy
Produce and externalize data delivery maximizing the utilization of our TMS data, combined with transactions, and other product performance indicators
Responsible for capacity planning, strategizing, and allocation of resources based on workload and bandwidth
Align with our overall product and business strategy as a stakeholder related to all data & analytics matters
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
Strong data mining/farming and analytics experience with proven track record in the payments landscape
Strong knowledge of payment application and terminal deployments, migrations, and other performance insights. Strong knowledge of data systems such as AWS, Splunk, Tableau, SQL, and Access are required
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
Proven track record with multi-faceted payment platforms and payment applications for large and mid-tier enterprise businesses
Experienced with a unique blend of product management, project management, product operations, and data analytics
Blended knowledge of how payment software and hardware are delivered and implemented within the payments industry for multiple verticals
