Job Description
Join the Firmwide Business Resiliency Team (“FBRT”) responsible for the design of the firm’s Resiliency Program. This role offers a close collaboration with the firm’s senior leadership, the LOB / Functional Resiliency teams, Risk Management and Audit to ensure that the resiliency program is commensurate with the risk-taking activities of the firm. The team is also responsible for providing corporate governance, awareness and training. The team also ensures that the firm remains in compliance with global laws and regulations as they relate to resiliency risk.When disruptions occur, these practices support the continued operation of the firm’s businesses, the markets, and our ability to service of our customers’ needs.
As a Data Management & Governance Associate on the Firmwide Business Resiliency team (FBRT), you will play a crucial role in supporting the data strategies and management team. You will work closely with all areas of FBRT and key stakeholders across the Lines-of-Business (LOBs) and Corporate Functions (CFs). Your role will be execution-oriented, requiring exceptional data analytical skills. A key part of your role will be to implement initiatives around the enhancement and automation of resiliency data management frameworks, and to design and implement data strategies, data sharing, data governance and controls.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of Firmwide Resiliency Data Management Frameworks. Proven experience in successfully implementing enterprise-wide data governance framework with a focus on interoperability, improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture.
- Demonstrate data management experience & technical skills includes creating procedures, processes, and training in partnership with subject matter experts.
- Design and execute processes to support the Data Governance initiatives - (IT transformation, Business Process Transformation, Business and Analytics).
- Deliver projects related to data governance, data management strategies.
- Oversee the firmwide resiliency data ingestion, data storage and analyzing data and data systems.
- Create rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders etc.
- Assist with reports and data extraction when needed.
- Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies and upgrades etc.)
- Form a partnership with technology partners to validate data-related problems, day-to-day maintenance of projects or modifications.
- Be a trusted partner. Shape the data management agenda, and work with all of stakeholders in laying out their data management enhancement roadmaps.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a corporate environment in data management.
- Experience in developing and implementing Data Management Standards, Data Quality solutions, Enterprise level Business Glossary and Catalogue and Lineage solutions.
- Hands-on experience in Analytics tools like Alteryx, Tableau, Python.
- Deliver value and reduce risks by resolving Data Issues and develop frameworks and operating models to manage the Data Issues.
- Hands on experience in developing and implementing workflows applying all internal and regulatory standards for Data Transfers, on premise as well as on Cloud.
- Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, change-management, and influencing skills.
- Understand Agile ways of working, and able to manage and deliver multiple projects effectively.
- Able to collaborate / virtually manage multi-cultural, multi-disciplined, globally dispersed team.
- Ability to take decisions on their own.
- Strong communication (Verbal/Written/Listening/Presentation); Team player and collaborative mindset toward partners.
- Understand and utilize design thinking in executing projects.
