This is a 2nd or 3rd shift opening. Hours are from 4PM to 12AM or 12AM to 8AM.
Top pay for this role is $20.09/hr.
1 week paid vacation time after 120 days of employment.

The Weaver Operator is to patrol the machines on their assigned layout to keep all machines, in full operation at all times. The Weaver Operator will inspect the quality of the fabric being produced, keeping warps in the best possible condition to obtain the highest quality possible, while maintaining standard efficiency or higher. The Weaver Operator will also work under the guidance of the Department Manager with assistance from Shift Support, and in full cooperation with all associates working together to achieve the goals of the department.
Duties:
- Perform routine cleaning procedures on the machines to eliminate dust and waste build up.
- Keep all path areas clean of waste filament, and binder build up. Perform routine housekeeping duties on job assignment, keeping yarn waste cleaned up from floor and winder clean of binder build up and waste.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Key all required information into CIM data unit on loom.
- Perform work safely
- Evaluate JSHA's for applicability
- Utilize STOP card program
- Attend and successfully complete all required training
- Understand all safety aspects of job performance
- Perform shift inspections daily
- Perform required equipment inspections
- Meet Performance Measures: Actual Runtime Hours Vs. Expected Runtime at Standard Operator eff.
- Perform 5S activities to maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Participate in Lean initiatives including, but not limited to, QDIP boards and Kaizen events.
Requirements:
- Must have twenty- four (24) months of previous weaving experience
- Read, write, understand, and follow written instructions.
- Basic math.
- Capable of reading and understanding entering drafts for fancy pattern weaves and Construction Sheets.
- Ability to lift light to moderate weight.
- Constant walking, standing, bending, and pulling.
- Good vision.
- Good yarn handling dexterity
- Standard learning period of 12 weeks O.J.T. supervised.
- May serve as an On- the- Job Instructor; Periodically train others to perform job.
