What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Systems Analyst – Salesforce position at JR Automation?
As the Salesforce Business Systems Analyst, you will have primary responsibility for daily system administration and collaborating with ongoing development of JR’s Salesforce.com deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Salesforce.com platform.
You will work closely with functional leaders and subject matter experts to identify new business requirements and present design and implementation plans for consideration. Daily you will interact with business customers and will need to be comfortable working across different levels in the company. Specifically, your business customers will include Sales, Application Engineering, Marketing, Training, After Market, Finance, and business executives. This role will also have responsibility for system administration and will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the platform.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with marketing business lead on day to day requirement administration and reporting needs
- Manage implementations and integrations for the Salesforce platform for all organization users.
- Provide timely support for end-users (local & remote) in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
- Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations.
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
- Work as a liaison with business customers to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change activities.
- Assist in training of new users and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.
- Work independently with members of the user community to define and document requirements.

- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
- Salesforce.com Admin certified highly recommended
- Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Pardot, and Social Studio preferred
- Prior experience or understanding of industrial automation or manufacturing
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
Skills You’ll Have:
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
- Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
- Strong data management abilities
- Documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirement
