Job description
JS SECURITY CONSULTING has 1 immediate openings for Professional Security for our LaVergne, TN location.

We are seeking a professional minded, security leaders (bi-lingual is a bonus) that will work with our client in establishing security protocols that support our client’s security needs. Applicants need to be professional, business minded/experienced,, accountable, diverse approach, integrity, responsible, dependable, strong oral and written communication skills, trustworthy individuals, with time management skills to join our Security Team. This assignment requires our team to be the first boots on the ground, developing SOPs, Post Orders and as well as training security staff. This security guard in partnership with our client on the day-to-day operations. At some point, as staffing increases, we will rely on our manager to interview and hire additional staff. This will require on-site supervisor ensuring that all shifts are covered, the team is trained and following protocols and resolve any issues impartially and quickly. This position will report directly to the site manager of JSSC. Individuals who are safety and security minded, understand and can evaluate risk, solutions-focused and strong communication skills is what we are looking for. Creative minded, goal oriented and understands that with any foreseeable problem there is a solution.

Start Date: Immediate hiring for qualified applicants.

Schedule Monday-Friday: 06:30 am-3:45 pm

Requirements:

• Valid armed/unarmed security license through the State of Tennessee
• Excellent communication skills, professionally minded, responsible, and works well with detail.
• Able to read and write fluent English and Spanish
• Able to pass a background check
• Able to pass a drug test
• Able to lead and train a security guard team
• Able to verify your right to legally work in the United States
• Able to develop Standard Operating Procedures for the site
• Professional in appearance and presentation
• Have an understanding of a variety of security and safety devices and controls
• Reliable Transportation
• Salary: $17.00-hour starting for licensed unarmed guard, Holiday rate is time and a half.
• We pay weekly, each Friday.
• We offer medical insurance.
• Required education: High school or equivalent
• Required Experience : Must have a valid license, and reliable transportation, prior leadership experience, at least 1 year of security , prior military, correction leadership or law enforcement. Must be available for a virtual in-person interview with JSSC CEO.
