JOB OVERVIEW

As our Technology Integration Specialist, we look to you for your knowledge and expertise as you complete a variety of systems integration engineering tasks including providing technical analysis and support. You also assess analyze, integrate, test plan, and evaluate FVL candidate sensors, signal processing, target acquisitions, guidance, navigation, controls, electronics, and computers. Being innovative and future-focused, you help influence the design and requirements criteria for the FVL ecosystem, including future long-range assault aircraft (FLRAA), future attack reconnaissance aircraft (FARA), the future unmanned aircraft system, and modular open systems approach (MOSA).

Being an active team player, you work well with others as you provide ample support for our open systems architecture (OSA) in the design and development of techniques and technologies aligned with the DoD's MOSA and the CFTs A3I approaches. You also assist with logistics engineering in maintenance planning to ensure that all aspects of maintenance are addressed in systems designs. You help define the work that the FVL CFT is accomplishing within the FVL ecosystem and assist with all phases of program integration and technical management. You provide technical expertise to influence the engineering design of aviation and missile weapon systems.

With the intent of increasing reliability, availability, and maintainability, you work to reduce life-cycle sustainment costs, manpower requirements, and fuel consumption. Further, you find ways to ensure minimal adverse impact to the user as well as identify ways to drive down the logistics costs in terms of manpower, spares, and downtime while adapting proven technologies to enhance the performance, reliability, and environmental compliance. Finally, you assist the government in developing acquisition documents, statements of work, contract data requirements list requirements, work breakdown structures, schedules, and life cycle cost estimates.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
• 4 or more years of systems integration experience
• Active DoD secret clearance
• Ability to use Microsoft Office products, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
• Strong Video teleconference setup and minute-taking skills
• Exceptional customer service skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance
• Prior experience with congressional actions, working at a higher headquarters (joint, combined, or combatant command), and supporting PEO aviation operations or exercises
