We are seeking an Operations Manager to work in the Hilton Torrey Pines at La Jolla.
- 3-5 years experience
- Position requires the candidate to be versatile in all AV disciplines.
- Strong Technical skills and logistics
- Self-Starter- Ability to manage multiple events at once as well as managing team members in their daily duties.
- Solid computer skills
- Communication between team members, clients and hotel staff is a must.
- Client facing, customer interaction and great customer service is essential.
- Ensuring that Hotel Technicians are positively interacting with Hotel Staff to maximize effectiveness of sales and service.
- Monitor training of all Hotel Technicians including but not limited to: appearance, technical skills, sales, customer service, maintenance of equipment, safety, relationship building and customer complaints.
- Schedule staff weekly
- Inventory Control
- Interface with operational departments
- Assist with hiring, training and coaching Hotel Technicians as required
- Provide directorship training for each staff technician.
- Maintain high visibility within assigned location.
- Other duties as assigned.
Must Have Requirements:
- Complete knowledge of hotel operations.
- 4 years or more experience as an Audio Visual Technician.
- Excellent organization, communication and motivational skills.
- Service oriented with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Possess the ability to manage and work with many different types of people and personalities on many different levels.
