Reports To: Vice President of Admissions & Marketing Job Status: 12-month, hourly ($25 - $30/Hour)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, (Days/Hours TBD – 20 hours a week)
Benefit Information: This position is eligible for California Sick Leave (40 hours a year) and 401(k) savings plan
with school match.
Description: JSerra Catholic High School is seeking a detail oriented and outgoing individual who can lead
projects and develop, oversee and work to consistently improve admissions recruiting programs. This role
requires strong time management and project organization skills with an ability to focus on details and assess
metrics to evaluate success. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring that Admissions consistently
delivers and improves efforts associated with student/parent messaging. Ability to connect well with
prospective students/parents and communicate the mission of JSerra in a compelling manner is essential.
Applicants must have a passion for Catholic education and must have the ability to participate in shared
decision-making in a team environment, have excellent oral and written communicative skills, and be familiar
and proficient in leveraging technology.

Responsibilities
- Represents JSerra at numerous school functions and communicates the vision and mission of the
- Collaborates with the VP of Admissions and Engagement in the coordination of recruiting and
Presentations, Placement Tests, and Middle School Collaboration Events.
- Leads campus tours for potential students and parents.
relationships with current JSerra families. Schedule shadow days, promote applications, and confirm
enrollment.
- Take a leadership role in coordinating strategic recruiting for key partner schools and parishes. Build
enrollment.
- Plan and execute two designated admissions events to be determined by the Vice President of
- Manage and execute all phases of the Mock HSPT & HSPT events on campus.
- Coordinate with Admissions and Advancement on attracting high impact philanthropic families
- Performs other duties as assigned by the VP of Admissions and Marketing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills – both in writing and as presenter
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft suite products including: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- JSerra alumni preferred
- Qualified individual must have minimum of 3 years prior experience/background in an
Admissions/school administrative role with prior work successes and work experience
in project mgmt. role.
