We are seeking an experienced Property Operations Manager dedicated to providing exceptional service to join our Residential team. Our ideal candidate is a dedicated professional with a proven track record in residential property management, experience leading a team, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The Property Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our residential leasing operations.
The Property Operations Manager executes property-level decisions and provides leadership to the property operations staff while working directly with the Chief Revenue Officer of Residential in setting and meeting strategic leasing goals. The essential functions of the position are listed below:
- Establish and maintain a high standard for cleanliness and organization in all properties
- In partnership with the Operations team, acts as a primary point of contact for concerns related to the condition of common areas, apartment units, and amenity spaces
- Maintain all current and future leases within property management software (Entrata)
- Oversee all 3rd party property management functions
- Management of the Property Operations team
- Oversee residential key, fob, and garage remote operations
- In partnership with the Residential leadership team, provide regular training to ensure compliance with all Fair Housing Laws including local, state, and federal regulations
- Assist the Leasing Manager with oversight and management of all executed lease files
- Monitor prospective resident feedback and conversion metrics to support the maintenance of common areas, units, and shared community amenities
- Coordinate with the Director of Marketing and Sales to provide regular updates to ensure all properties align with current marketing strategies
- Collaborate with the Residential leadership team to maintain consistent reporting on key performance indicators
- Professional represent JSM in community and industry organizations and events
What you’ll bring
- Minimum of 10 years experience in residential property management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Proficiency in property management software and tools. Experience with Entrata is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience supervising a team
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
- Valid driver’s license
