EDUCATION
Minimum BS/MS degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering or industrial engineering.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum of 2 years’ lead or supervisory experience in lithographic testing of photoresist materials as well as cleanroom operation equivalent experience.
2. Proficient with ISO standards, SQC/SPC principles, cleanroom protocol, and general safety practices. Familiarity with LIMS, XML, and JMP a strong plus.
3. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Must be organized with strong multi-tasking skills in dynamic environment.
4. Strong experience in department expense budgeting, manpower and tool utilization, and test or tool related KPI monitoring. Improvement execution a plus.
5. Solid experience with third party and/or semiconductor customer audits.
6. Ability to lead discussions and projects involving department and inter-company personnel.
7. Familiar with general HR and supervisory regulations.
8. Familiar with functions of cleanroom-based lithography equipment as well as general photolithography principles.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Proactively addresses and closes EH&S concerns arising in cleanrooms with QC manager. Schedules and follows up on cleanroom inspection result findings and closures.
2. Supervises QC functional test support and COA release coverage. Effectively works with planning, logistics, and sales support to execute timely completion of tests and of product batch COA’s. Monitors sample arrival to batch release queue times in QC operations and addresses issues within and outside QC department. Ably manages QC tool BCP’s with planning, logistics, and sales support during tool downs.
3. Timely response to requests made to QC operations. Allocates QC resources and timelines accordingly. Coverage beyond testing includes but is not limited to PCS support, outside party audit preparation, personnel training, and tool qualification. Efficiently multi-tasks competing priorities with minimal supervision from QC manager.
4. Develops QC department goals and projects with QC manager. Aligns team members’ career goals with projects and responsibilities.
5. Compiles QC expense budget annually and oversees QC department expense and manpower allocation with QC manager.
6. Manage QC test and tool KPI’s on monthly basis and oversee improvement projects where feasible.
7. Working understanding of customer technical requirements against current metrology capability.
8. Promote use of troubleshooting tools like fishbone diagrams, 8D, or DOEs in conjunction with risk management tools.
9. Other duties may be assigned.
