Clinical Application Specialist JSSA’s IT team has an immediate opening for an experienced Clinical Applications Specialist to join our growing team.   JSSA’s mission – to empower individuals and families to achieve well-being across their lifespan – it’s the cornerstone of the critical work we do.  JSSA fosters and values every team member’s unique talents and contributions, creating a work place of choice - an environment that is supportive, cohesive and goal-oriented.  Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this position will be responsible for the following:    Making consultative recommendations to internal colleagues regarding clinical and business process flows and their impact on system design for our Mental Health, Employment Services, and other programs. Supporting configuration and implementation of JSSA’s separate EMR systems.  Supporting training, application support and vendor management, change management, project management, and reporting. Developing education/training materials for clinicians and end-users.  Identifying gaps and opportunities in departmental process mapping of current and future workflows. Participating in quality assurance (QA) processes to ensure data products are high quality.   Position Qualifications:   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare/clinical field (LCSW, RN, etc.), Informatics or IT.  Clinical licensure is desired, but a combination of experience and education can be considered.  3-5 years of proven experience in a similar role; preferably in a healthcare setting.  Comfortable working with complex, clinical application systems in a dynamic, ever-changing IT infrastructure with the ability to grasp complex problems and understand the ramifications of proposed solutions.  Demonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques used in electronic record keeping systems.  Ability to work as a team player and translate concepts to a diverse staff with little or no technical background.  Excellent attention to detail, superb organization and writing skills, outstanding customer service, and ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment.  Advanced skillset with Microsoft Office suite and experience with EMR systems (acute care, hospice, homecare and/or mental health) preferred.   This position allows for a hybrid work experience with time split between working in the office and remotely.   JSSA has a mandatory COVID vaccination policy, requiring staff to be up to date on their vaccinations.    #CHRC
