SUMMARY:
- Setup and operation of Wire EDM equipment in order to make precision parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work with multiple Wire EDM Machines.
2. Review Prints for best processing by Wire EDM
3. Coordinate and prioritize work provided by the Shop Supervisor.
4. Make replacement mold and die tooling
5. Maintain shop equipment.
6. Complete tasks and duties as assigned.
7. Occasionally may have to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 10 years minimum tool room experience.
3. Technical school, CAD capability, CNC programming capability are a plus.
4. Ability to read product drawings and tool drawings.
5. Ability to set up and operate mold/die presses.
6. Die/Mold building and development, heat treating, machine building, and
product prototyping experience is necessary.
7. Must understand all tool room machines and processes proficiently.
