Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Systems Analyst to join our team. This position is crucial for performing operations and maintenance for our existing applications while also developing new, enterprise-facing applications. The Systems Analyst will provide technical analysis, create user documentation, and coordinate changes for legacy .NET applications and new enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical analysis and create user documentation for legacy .NET applications and new enterprise solutions
Work closely with the development team to quickly learn and support VITA’s base system
Interact with agency customers daily to offer guidance on the usage and development of .NET applications
Serve as the technical expert in the implementation, maintenance, and support of applications
Facilitate and promote the use of applications to improve operational efficiencies and customer service
Design technical solutions and develop them in cooperation with the customer
Communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both in written and verbal formats
Collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to technical and strategic development
Conduct business professionally, interacting with all levels of organizations, partners, and vendors
Plan and organize work activities efficiently, prioritize tasks effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Translate business user needs into business and technical requirements, implementing solutions using MS Dynamics CRM, xRM, COTS packages, or .NET
Decompose business requirements into testable system requirements for development and testing purposes
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in system analysis
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft technologies
Strong understanding of full application lifecycle, development, and project design tools and methodologies
Ability to specify and design technical solutions in cooperation with the customer
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team, share and collaborate on projects
Ability to conduct business professionally and interact with all levels of organizations, partners, and vendors
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to interact positively and professionally with customers, listen to their needs, and translate them into technical requirements
Experience with business processes and workflows
Experience with testing scripts and system testing is a plus
Experience with use cases and logical data flows is a plus
Experience working with diversified stakeholders and understanding project needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience
