Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Photo Editor to enhance the visual appeal of our product images and marketing materials. The Photo Editor will be responsible for retouching, color correction, and editing images to ensure they meet our brand standards and resonate with our target audience. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong creative skills, and proficiency in photo editing software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit product images to ensure they are visually appealing, accurately represent the products, and align with our brand identity.
- Perform color correction, exposure adjustment, and background removal to enhance the quality of images.
- Retouch product images to remove imperfections, blemishes, and other distractions, while maintaining a natural look.
- Create composite images by combining multiple photos or elements to showcase product features and variations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and visual assets for digital and print campaigns.
- Maintain a consistent style and aesthetic across all product images and marketing materials.
- Organize and manage a large volume of images, ensuring they are properly labeled, categorized, and archived.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in photography and photo editing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Photo Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing photo editing skills and creativity.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or other photo editing software.
- Solid understanding of color theory, composition, and design principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while working with large volumes of images.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of cosmetics or fashion industry is a plus, but not required.
