Position Description:
Multiple Openings!! JTEC Consulting is hiring Cyber Security Engineers for a growing team. This role will join one of the Scrum teams working in support of the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul initiative (MROi) solution for a DoD customer.
Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Support Air Force Components, Joint organizations and DoD customer base that are dispersed worldwide and support the associated regulatory guidance
- Support Information Assurance consulting services to MRO
- Support and coordinate workflow, activity, and documentation necessary to achieve successful RMF
- Assess & Authorize efforts for a cloud-native build development effort in Air Force’s Enterprise Resource Planning – Common Services environment
- Other tasks, as assigned
Requirements include (but are not limited to):
- U.S. citizenship
- Current Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred; associates degree or related military training will be considered
- Industry recognized technical certification to meet IAT Level II - Security
- 7 years of related experience including:
- Technical experience in cybersecurity
- Experience supporting certification and accreditation (C&A) or A&A
- Experience as a security control assessor or validator
- Experience with maintaining IT security policies, processes, and guidance
- Experience with continuous monitoring and plans of action and milestones (POA&M) management
- Experience with assessing systems deployed in cloud environments
- Experience supporting the implementation of comprehensive security controls consistent with risk
- Experience supporting the development, testing, implementation, and operations of department and agency continuous diagnostics and mitigation (CDM) solutions
- Experience auditing and reporting of the installation and configuration of software patches; implementation and validation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and security scanning.
- Familiarity with cyber security regulatory guidelines (Commercial, Department of Defense and Air Force Specific Regulations and guidance).
- Experience using compliance and accreditation reporting environments (e.g., eMASS, CMRS) to document the progress of Certification & Accreditation (A&A) efforts.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a blended government and contractor team
Preferred skills:
- Experience working with Web Inspect and Fortify
