Summary/Purpose
Interpret customers forecast and create Master Schedule to drive MRP.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
Maintain customer forecast database in Q drive.
Monitor current inventory and customer requirements to create weekly plan for Manufacturing.
Update production schedules daily.
Maintain Heijunka post, Yarjaimi and daily Kanban schedule.
Create ramp up and build out plan, as required for assigned value stream.
Create shop packet for abnormal customer items (pilots, prototypes, etc.).
Facilitate weekly production meeting for assigned value streams.
Material Requirement Planning, as assigned.
Follow up and understand parts situation anytime.
Follow up inventory and cycle counts.
Troubleshoot problems and abnormal situations with suppliers, when necessary.
Assist in reconciling on hand quantity discrepancy.
Track ECI changes for assigned value stream.
Attend APQP meetings, as required for assigned value stream.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of manufacturing operations.
Knowledge and experience in parts ordering, preferable MRP (ordering principles, etc.).
Knowledge of factors that influence inventory (B.O.M., reporting, etc.).
Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
Excellent attendance record.
Good computer skills (experience with MS Windows and AS400, preferred.
Knowledge of systems (MRP, OE&I, REP, ASN-EDI, etc.).
Knowledge of Kanban system and visual controls.
Demonstrated ability to perform well under extreme pressure.
Takes ownership and responsibility.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
High math and reading skills.
Ability to handle multiple job assignment s and time lines.
Ability to work overtime is an essential function of the position.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree – Business preferred, but not required.
Experience in manufacturing and production control processes and procedures.

Work is mostly performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards, and with substantial time spent working on a computer. Requires sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard and other office equipment.
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.
Travel by automobile and plane required approximately 10-20% of time.
