Position Title: Oregon Office Supervisor with Licensed Tax Consultant Certification

Position Purpose
Office Supervisors with their Licensed Tax Consultant Certifications are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific retail tax location, as well as staying current on new tax law as they are experts in providing tax advice and tax services to a wide range of clients. Tax consultants are strong written and verbal communicators who can explain tax law in a way that is accessible and easy for customers to understand. This position manages store employees and is responsible to meet business objectives as set by the corporate office.
Position Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Manage office staff ,operations, customer relations, and logistics for offices
- Create associate work schedules and work with the DM to ensure accurate timekeeping as well as labor management
- Execute approved Marketing campaigns
- Conduct face-to-face interviews with clients
- Generate and transmit daily operational reports
- Implements client-oriented product initiatives approved by corporate first-hand and via training associates
- Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to office associates
- Establish rapport with clients to build working relationships and increase retention
- Provides exceptional customer service
- Prepares fast, accurate tax returns using industry leading technology
- Provide tax advice
- Fulfills ongoing tax training and testing requirements in a timely manner (Prior to Tax Season)
- Completes 30 hours of qualified Continuing Education credits as required for Licensed Tax Consultant license renewal through OBTP annually
- Offers clients solution-oriented products to improve client’s financial situations
- Ensures office is clean, organized, and in compliance
- Other duties as assigned

- Solid organizational and time management skills

- Ability to grow and develop associates in a fast-paced business environment
- Meet legal requirements for consultant status in Oregon
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Must have PTIN or eligible to receive
- Computer proficient and a familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Qualified applicants must be self-starters and computer literate
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends, as needed
- Self-motivated and ability to work both independently and within a team
- Sales experience is a plus, as is language ability
- Meets LTC licensing requirements as set by the Oregon Board of Tax Practitioners. Programs are available to compensate associates for acquiring licensure for LTC status, -please ask for details. If you’re ready to test for LTC status, we’d like to talk to you.
- Minimum 3 years previous tax preparation experience required or Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials

Position requires working in an office atmosphere assisting clients.
