Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Danville, VA

Reporting to: Warehouse Manager

Role: Permanent

Warehousing Supervisor - Logic

What this position is about:

Support the efficient and compliant operations of Logic and PTID receiving, storage and distribution of products. Includes ensuring adherance to all product quality, traceability and safety guidelines. The incumbent is responsible for processing RMA's and monitoring the Hazardous Waste movements and storage area..

What will you do?

• Maintain awareness of all SOP's and ensure contract employees follow all SOP's
• Receive and count all RMA deliveries. Maintain records of these count verifications and submit reports to JTI USA as required
• Prepare Hazardous Waste shipments as required. This includes ensuring correct labeling is in place and all procedural steps in the SOP(s) are followed and enforced including shipping manifest and related documents
• Monitor hazardous waste storage area to ensure all products stored are labeled and are in sound condition.
• Assist in B2B areas as required. This includes picking and or prepraing orders as well performing the second verification of B2B orders picked. "People management (if applicable)
• Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent."

• Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager's request."

Who are we looking for?

• High School diploma or GED. Associate Degree or experience preferred
• Min 3 years experience in tobacco and/or warehouse industry, knowledge of tobacco/product quality.
• Must be detail oriented and maintain a focused work ethic to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Support and uphold Best Practices at all times.
