Freelance Project Manager

Overview

Jubilee is in search of a Freelance Project Manager! You will play a pivotal role in pushing forward the development process for our new Nectar app. You'll lead the project timelines for a cross-functional team of app designers, developers, and marketing creatives to bring our vision to life. If you're a seasoned project manager with a proven track record in delivering successful projects, we’re looking for you!

The Job

As our Freelance Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining project timelines for our marketing, product, and creative teams. We're seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in app development (or digital products), strong organizational skills, and a proven ability to navigate project complexities. The ideal candidate is resourceful, a skilled communicator, and a natural problem solver.

What You'll Do

• Oversee and manage the tasks, timelines, and milestones of both our technical and creative teams
• Contribute to the product roadmap of the Nectar app
• Collect data from community surveys to create brand-focused app deliverables
• Develop production schedules for cross-functional departments to ensure projects are delivered on time within scope
• Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks to maintain project momentum.
• Conduct regular reviews of the Nectar app and address any issues that may arise
• Utilize our project management tools to assess and report day-to-day progress 
• Ensure deliverable planning is accurate, timely, and realistic

Who You Are

• 3-5 years of experience in project management (preferably in the tech space)
• Prior experience in app or digital product development
• Local to the LA area and open to weekly in-person collaboration 
• Experienced and knowledgeable in the digital space and workflow within digital projects
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Expert communicator with a strong ability to shepard a team towards a common goal 
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
