Maintenance Technician

Judge Development Corp is looking for a maintenance tech for our commercial properties in South Burlington and Williston. The position will report to our Assistant Property Manager.

This role is full-time Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00 pm and is a mix of inside and outside work. Must be available off-hours for emergency calls on a rotation basis and occasional overtime. The position is seasonal from November to April, with the potential to go full-time.

Responsibilities:

Basic maintenance for:

  • Basic electrical
  • Carpentry
  • Drywall
  • Basic plumbing
  • HVAC/thermostat
  • Sidewalk snow removal
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of building maintenance and repair
  • Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools for the maintenance and repair of buildings
  • Must possess valid driver's license with a good driving record and reliable transportation
  • Must be reliable, hard-working, committed, and able to establish and maintain good working relationships with staff and tenants
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs
  • Clean appearance is a must
  • 1 yr general maintenance experience preferred but will train the right person
  • Must be able to pass drug test and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
