Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
MUST HAVES:
- Solar/Net Metering/Interconnection knowledge or experience. Understanding of state and federal clean energy programs and incentives.
- Ability to explain technical and complex topics, customized for individual customer understanding.
- A bit of a detective mindset - ability to synthesize information gleaned from multiple systems to determine possible issue, next steps, and path forward.
Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
- Formulate systems to align with overall business strategies.
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required for computer program development or modification.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements.
- Design, develop, and test software systems that meet user needs.
- Provide training to end-users on new systems and processes.
- Facilitate smooth implementation and adoption of software solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 6-10 years of experience in business systems analysis or related areas.
- Expertise in business concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to bridge business and technical domains.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Customer service experience.
- Knowledge or experience in solar/net metering/interconnection.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions.
- Ability to manage net metering application and enrollment processes.
- Coordination with internal and external groups to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Creativity and adaptability in achieving project goals.
