Judge Direct Placement is partnering with an industry leading manufacturer on their Accountant opening located in the Chicago suburbs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial operations within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on ACH transactions, bank compliance, audit collaboration, and comprehensive financial analysis.

 

Responsibilities:

• Financial Transactions and Compliance: Oversee and manage ACH transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. Maintain stringent adherence to banking regulations and internal financial policies.
• Bank Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with banking regulations, liaise with financial institutions, and proactively address any compliance issues or concerns.
• Audit Collaboration: Work closely with external auditors during audit periods, providing necessary documentation and support. Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and facilitate a smooth audit process.
• Month and Year-End Reporting: Analyze and prepare comprehensive month-end and year-end financial reports, providing detailed insights into financial performance. Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing recommendations for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
• Record Maintenance: Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records, maintaining the integrity of the company's financial data and documentation.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within financial operations, implementing efficient procedures to enhance accuracy and streamline workflows.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, specifically handling ACH transactions, bank compliance, and audit coordination.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools for analysis and reporting.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external auditors.
