Maintenance Manager
Status- Direct Hire
Location- Newport News, VA
Shift- Day Shift ( But Must Be Open )
Degree- Preferred, But Not Limited Too
Experience- 7 Years Experience Working In A Manufacturing Maintenance Environment. 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Role. Strong Electrical & Mechanical Background. TPM-Scheduling-Training- Planning
This job will have the following responsibilities:

This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Performs / oversees that the following duties are completed in a safe manner
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with Company policies
- Gives communication and direction to Maintenance Staff
- Oversees, plans and issues work orders to appropriate shift team members for the implementation of equipment modifications as well as preventative and any corrective maintenance
- Reviews the operation of equipment with appropriate personnel to identify maintenance issues in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity and Customer Satisfaction
- Monitors and reviews Maintenance expenses monthly.
- Ensures Maintenance employees are properly trained in all aspects of their jobs. Identifies training gaps and develops training plans as needed
- Engages employees in problem resolution to improve production issues/efficiencies utilizing Lean Manufacturing techniques as needed
- Tracks, analyzes, and improves the Maintenance department’s KPIs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- BS Degree Preferred, But Not Limited
- Experience Working With Refrigeration
- Ability to Work In Beverage-CPG-Food Plant
- Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures
- Ability to follow Continuous Improvement (CI) Processes in the Management Operating Structure (MOS)
- Previous Experience With Refrigeration
