Budtender

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and friendly Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting suitable cannabis products based on their individual needs, preferences, and intended use. You will ensure compliance with all regulations governing the sale of cannabis products and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the dispensary.
• Educate customers on the different strains, potency, and effects of cannabis products.
• Assist customers in selecting products that best fit their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Accurately process transactions using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace to ensure a professional and welcoming environment.
• Stay up-to-date on cannabis trends and product knowledge.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and distribution of cannabis products.
• Ensure compliance with age restrictions and identification requirements.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in customer service or retail sales preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 21 years of age or older (if required by state regulations).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Job Type: Part-time

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
• Weekends only

Ability to Relocate:
