Job Summary and Mission

Juice Press has opened more than 95+ retail stores and is now recognized as a premiere organic grab and go health food provider.
Juice Press is hiring a full-time Retail District Manager based out of New York City. The District Manager contributes to the success of Juice Press through ownership and accountability of their locations as well as reinforcing the pride we take in our People, Product, and Process. The District Manager will report directly to the COO and will oversee the management of multiple locations within the NYC market. The key focuses of a District Manager include but are not limited to coaching and developing their teams, driving sales and profitability, ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction, reviewing and reinforcing recipes and product quality, and safety and cleanliness within their locations.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Coaching and Development:
- Train, coach, and supervise the overall store performance while providing store level support
- Implementing and executing professional development plans for Store Managers and in-store team members
- Utilizing KPI’s to identify top performers, and sharing best practices
- Recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments
Financial Responsibility:
- P&L Management, from Sales through Profit
- Exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
- Crafting detailed business plans to further enhance sales growth
- Effectively communicating sales goals with Store Managers and teams
Creating an outstanding guest experience:
- Conducting routine QSC audits
- Detailed knowledge of the operation
- Ability to be hands on in a fast paced and variable environment
- Interacting with our guests, enhancing knowledge of our products and the Juice Press mission
- Assist Store Managers with Health Department inspections and preparation
- Assume leadership role in stores when a Store Manager is not present
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 3-5 years of Multi-Unit Management experience
- Hospitality or food and beverage experience preferred
- Proven ability to manage the overall operations of multiple stores independently
- Strong operational and communication skills in a customer service-based environment
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of business planning and financial performance measures
- Ability to analyze problems and provide solutions
- Safeserv Certification preferred
- Hands-on approach to leadership
