Warehouse Lead

We are on the hunt for a highly motivated warehouse lead to work collaboratively across the organization to impact our brands and guide a variety of projects from conception to completion. The right candidate will have a passion for both challenge and change, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt and adjust quickly in the work environment to manage competing demands. This role will report to the Warehouse Supervisor on day shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday). The successful candidate must be able to work in a distribution environment, maintain accuracy, and possess attention to detail. This includes but is not limited to picking, staging, and packing items as needed to meet business needs and coordinating distribution assets through the Distribution Director as required to achieve organizational goals. Candidates must be punctual, reliable, and able to lead an assigned team through the daily activities in the warehouse to ensure efficient operations in a demanding and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Picking, staging, and stocking items once transfer has been completed.
• Coordinates with distribution team to pull and pack prop items from reserve locations as needed.
• Coordinate with supervisors and directors when staffing is needed to meet timelines to pick or stage items, assist in inventory set up or breakdown as needed.
• Verifies incoming and outgoing shipments meet company quality standards.
• Pick, pack, and prepare goods for shipment as instructed through customer requests, internal pick tickets and routing guides throughout the facility.
• Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area and ensures good housekeeping; including but not limited to pallet breakdown, re-palletizing freight, and restocking inventory as needed.
• Maintains and adheres to safety standards, complying with regulations, and ensuring the team does so as well.
• Collaborates with team to identify continuous improvement objectives and implements directives.
• Support teamwork and continuous improvement through performing other related duties as assigned.
  
  

Desired Skills Physical Requirements:

• Excellent multi-tasking, planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills. Possesses the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely to a wide audience.
• Presents self in professional manner and have ability to interact with all levels of organization and outside contacts.
• Warehouse Management System and RF Scanning experience is a strong plus.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (hand trucks, hand carts and electric pallet jacks).
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., unassisted.
• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving throughout the course of the shift. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse which may require lifting, standing, and carrying.
