What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Sales position at JumpCrew?

JumpCrew is seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Sales in Nashville with progressive, on-the-spot, critical thinking ability who will apply his/her experience and education in a highly self-directed and fast-paced environment. You will be joining an entrepreneur team with a corporate culture seeking to expand both new and existing customers. This role will be responsible for the tactical execution of achieving the company’s revenue and growth goals. The Director will have oversight of revenue-generating functions, sales leadership and inside sales teams. More specifically, you will be managing and steering 5 sales managers and the performance of their teams business units.


The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our sales strategy leading multiple inside sales teams that work both inbound leads and outbound leads from targeted market research. The Director should be results-driven, competitive, and a sales-minded leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Experience fostering positive client relations, managing key clients across multiple service lines, establishing and delivering on client strategy is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop direct reports and ensure effective succession planning efforts are put in place.
  • Executes the account management and retention strategy for assigned clients in an effort to grow the relationship, uncover additional opportunities where discovery can enhance customer’s business and grow the accounts, incrementally increasing revenue
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with your VP in owning and managing the entire sales process/cycle from top to bottom & shape the sales strategy
  • Drive results, achieving revenue targets according to company goals / sales conversion metrics & monthly or annual sales goal
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty through meeting client deliverables and ensure each team's results align with client expectations.t.
  • Provide regular and accurate reports on sales metrics, pipeline status, and other relevant KPIs to senior management


Qualifications:

  • 5 years of sales experience, preferably within fast-growing SaaS and/or outsourced sales-based model
  • 3 years experience in leading Inside SDR/AE sales teams working closely with Marketing to execute the sales portion of sales, lead gen and GTM strategy
  • 1 years experience leading leaders who have direct reports.
  • Experience working using a CRM for prospecting, forecasting and reporting
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.

  • Location: Nashville, TN, Hybrid schedule, Mon & Fri WFH, Tues-Thurs in office
