Responsibilities
- Assist with various construction tasks, including demolition, site cleanup, and material handling.
- Prepare and maintain construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized working environment.
- Assist carpenters and other tradespeople with their tasks, such as framing, finishing work, and light repair work.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Return unused materials to the proper vendor.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist in the installation of flooring, tile, cabinetry, and other finishing touches.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous tasks.
- Ability to follow verbal directions.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from supervisors.
- Must provide own transportation to and from the job site.
- Clean DMV record and valid driver's license.
- Able to complete task list in the order given.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary at $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
