Job Summary:
The Audio Visual Service Technician will lead LINX Multimedia in break fix and troubleshooting response for customers. Service Specialists will be technical leaders in the service division, providing assistance and expertise to customers. The Service Technician will work closely with the Service Manager and Service Operations Lead to efficiently resolve customer issues in a timely and customer friendly manner. Service Specialists will maintain a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support two different customer sites within Tampa with all of their AV needs
- Configure AV equipment such as control systems (Crestron / AMX / Extron), Audio DSPs, matrix switchers, codec's, Logitech, Shure Audio, Zoom Video Conferencing
- Troubleshooting and break fix response for commercial AV systems
- Make minor programming adjustments for commercial AV systems
- Properly manage call times and provide thorough documentation
- Review schematic designs using Bluebeam (not required)
- Demonstrate creative solutions to help differentiate LINX Multimedia
Minimum Requirements
- 5 years experience with Logitech conference room systems and commercial AV systems
- Attitude and Aptitude to learn and solve problems
- Superior customer communication skills
- At least two years of experience in professional audio/video integration
- Ability to handle things on your own and be creative with solutions
Preferred Experience (not required)
- Experience with configuring Logitech and/or Crestron systems preferred. Certifications preferred.
- CTS (CTS-I) certification is highly preferred.
- Advanced MS Excel skills preferred, and overall Microsoft Office experience.
Pay Rate:
$30.00 - $36.00/hour
