MARKET ASSISTANT
Tips available at events and satellite locations
In search of someone with a fun and energetic personality who will help customers at different markets along the Grand Strand.
Must be able to provide quality service and promote any and all locations and markets. Ability to handle several customers at a time, make change and manage money responsibly. Set up a stand according to company standards and food safety guide lines. Keep a clean event space. Must have their own vehicle or the ability to use one for work. You must be licensed, insured and have a clean MVR. Break down the stand, return all products and equipment and monies to the bakery immediately after the event.
COUNTER SERVICE SPECIALIST
This candidate should have exceptional service skills and can handle more than one person at a time. Must be able to assist customers with answering questions, taking orders, answering phones and cashing out customers on a POS. Set up shop according to company standards and food safety guide lines. You will be responsible for ensuring fresh items are rotated and fully stocked at all times. Be able to assist with prep with needed. Keep a clean work space and complete daily maintenance responsibilities.
PREP & DELIVERY PROFESSIONAL
We are looking for someone who can prepare fresh items, manage food deliveries and ensure proper food storage. Ability to read and follow recipes. Must be able to prep recipes in volume to fill prep cooler on a daily basis. Be able to assist customers with order taking, questions, phone calls and cashing out. Responsible for ensuring fresh items are ready to open the shop and prep items for shipping to events or satellite locations. Keep a clean work space and complete daily maintenance responsibilities. Must be punctual and dependable. Must have their own vehicle or the ability to use one for work. Needs to be be licensed and insured to pick up vendor orders, deliver clients orders, and run items to markets.
BAKERS ASSISTANT
We are seeking an experienced baker who has established skills in rolling out dough, food prep and baking. You will be baking fresh pastries and pies; setting out the pastries and preparing items with the pastry chief. Be able to ensure quality of goods are up to standard, verify consistency of recipes, be able to assist with food inventory, and preparing food orders. Must be able to prep and produce recipes in batches to mass produce items. Experience with bakers equipment a bonus. We have both permeant and temporary positions available! The position is hourly and begins between 6-9a.m.
Examples of Baker responsibilities
- Mixing and rolling pie dough.
- Making icing and prepping fillings for pies, danishes and pastries.
- Building Cinnamon Rolls, Sticky Buns, Turnovers, Danishes and other items assigned by the Pastry Chef.
- Arranging the display case in an appealing manner to company standards .
- Putting away deliveries and orders.
- Cleaning and detailing tools, equipment and food prep areas.
- Assist opening the bakery every morning.
- Answering calls, taking orders and helping customers.
- Ensuring all baked goods are completed on time for opening shop, markets and orders.
