JURISolutions Legal (JSL) is seeking a qualified Paralegal for a long-term project with one of our government clients in Washington, DC.

The ideal candidate will perform the following essential tasks:
- Draft legal documents and conducting legal research in support of staff attorneys, including checking legal citations and using the Blue Book
- Draft legal memoranda to provide the legal basis for access to confidential investigative information to state and federal agencies pursuing legal action and adjudication of legal issues
- Draft legal memoranda for Enforcement and Fair Lending Divisions
- Communicates with senior CIO staff, attorneys, paralegals and support staff in the legal division on a regular basis regarding new requests and to provide status updates on current requests
- Researches and verifies legal citations for accuracy and relevance
- Uses computerized legal reference systems: Lexis Nexis, Lexis Advance, Westlaw, and Westlaw Next
- Compiles and manages documents and other materials for production in litigation and submission to oversight bodies including legal memos, response letters, and memorandums of understanding, common interest agreements and all supporting documents
- Works with attorneys in an active and fast-paced legal office, including managing and maintaining copies of legal memos, directives, guides, instructions, and accessing them electronically as requested by attorneys
