Position:

Bakery Second Shift Decorators/Packers ensure that Just Desserts Baked goods are packaged as specified by the Shift Lead. Packagers are an integral part of Just Desserts, which relies on Packagers' knowledge and experience to ensure that our products meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. This is a second shift position hours are from 4pm-12:30am with a possibility of overtime.

Description Essential Job Functions

Perform any combination of following tasks in preparation of baked goods and or cakes along conveyor line:

· Read the container code to determine the Julian date is printing

· Package finished product

· Visually inspect for correct/incorrect labeling

· Ensure product is packaged in the correct cases

· Learn to decorate cakes, and packaged baked goods

· Ensure product is packaged correctly and quickly at production speed

· Check that the Support Equipment is on and operating for that line (i.e. Boxformer, Sticker Machine.)

· Know all the locations of the stop switches, emergency stop (mushroom) switches, and three-way disconnects of the operations and what they de-activate. Able to LOTO all equipment

· Know the energy sources of the operation.

· Notify Lead and/or Supervisor of malfunctions

· Other duties as assigned

Duties & Responsibilities

· Follow Safety and Sanitation Company Policy

· Follow Good Manufacturing Practices as Trained during Orientation

· Take direction by Shift Lead

· Work in a different work areas, as needed

· Report any noticeable product defects to Lead and/or Supervisor

· Proper use PPE such as: Hair Net/Gloves/Facemask

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
