SANITATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN / DRIVER

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Operates a company service truck and drives to various locations to provide complete, industry leading health and sanitation services to client job sites. This includes servicing and cleaning various company assets to include portable restrooms, holding tanks, handwash stations, trash trailers, and fresh water systems.
• Sets-up new jobs by delivering and positioning assets at designated locations while working closely with client leadership throughout the project lifecycle in order to plan for, and stay ahead of, changing or evolving customer needs.
• Acts as a member of the client’s project team in order to provide clients with the outstanding level of customer service and the health and sanitation expertise that JIT is known for.
• Ensures all duties conducted with a company service truck are performed safely while always maintaining compliance with JIT and DOT standards. 
• Frequently lifts, transfers, or moves up to 50 lbs. of equipment on a daily basis.

  EDUCATION:

          Must have High School Diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 EXPERIENCE:

• At least 2 yrs. experience operating commercial (CMV) or similar driving experience.
• General mechanic experience or exposure/familiarity with fleet maintenance and truck repair a plus.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

           Current valid driver’s license (Class-C or CDL) with a clean and verifiable driving record.

PHYSICAL/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Sits, stands, or walks for 4–8 hours within a given day while delivering or servicing company assets, which may include traversing uneven or rough terrain.
• Constantly uses fingers and hands when servicing equipment, driving, operating mobile devices or other office machinery.
• Frequently travels to various client locations, some of which are in remote/distant areas.
• Available to work occasional long hours when necessary to reach goals (some evenings and weekends may be required).
• Employee must be able to relocate to meet the needs of the Company.

 WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, cleaning chemicals and fumes, and moving mechanical parts.
• Frequently requires proper use and maintenance of the required personal protective equipment.
• Frequent exposure to noisy environments.

PAY RANGE:

          $16-$20 per hour
